The forecast for noon, Saturday, July 5, 2008 shows widespread scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely along the eastern seaboard and into the Southeast.  Hot weather is likely well into the Northern Plains, while showers are possible in the Southwest.  Some rain is possible in the Northwest.
